Flowering Tree INC is a project partner effectively involved with i-India in designing and jointly implementing all Shwetaark activities.
Where we operate
Schools at Street Points Across Jaipur
The day centres are operated at street points such as sidewalks, slums and the railway station. They are usually no more than a rug on the ground or a wall-less canvas area of shade — but they are the last line of care for children who have fallen through society’s cracks.

Shwetaark brings committed teachers and staff to children right where they live — these centres offer a safe and nurturing place for learning and growth for street children who cannot obtain formal schooling.
What we provide
Education, Health & Empowerment
Children may be forced to work due to poverty, live far from any government school, or simply not yet understand the value of education. Shwetaark reaches out to them where they are.
Informal schooling
Daily lessons at 16 centres with committed teachers — the ultimate goal is to inspire children toward mainstream education and eventually operate full-fledged schools.
Health care
Regular visits by health workers and doctors at every centre. Children receive medical treatment and vaccines, and develop the courage to go to hospital.
Hygiene & health awareness
Children learn personal hygiene, the dangers of tobacco and drugs, and are made aware of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS.
Empowerment & personal growth
Beyond academics, Shwetaark builds confidence, social skills and an awareness of the world and possibilities beyond their neighbourhood.
The ultimate goal of Shwetaark is to inspire and launch the children to the point of mainstream education — and to operate full-fledged schools. Over 1,000 children in 16 locations are reached daily through these centres.
