i-India uses a jeep as an ambulance to provide emergency help and health care to street children. It regularly visits Street Schools, responds to Child Line callers needing medical attention, and runs health camps and awareness campaigns on the street.

What we do
Mobile Health Care on the Street
Street school visits
Regularly visits all School on Wheels street centres to check on children and provide medical treatment on the spot.
Child Line emergency response
Responds to Child Line (1098) callers who require medical attention, with trained health workers on board.
Vaccination drives
Many children are vaccinated for hepatitis, tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus and polio through this mobile health vehicle.
Awareness campaigns
Health camps, IEC campaigns and orientations spread awareness about tobacco, drugs, STDs and HIV/AIDS, encouraging children to visit hospitals for better treatment.
