i-India conducts AIDS awareness activities for children in two ways — reaching over 1,750 children across its homes, schools and street programmes with education on HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases.

In-house Education
All children in Child Inn, Ganga, the Temporary Homes, plus those served by the School on Wheels and Integrated Programme for Street Children receive education about HIV/AIDS.

Targeted Intervention Programme
Educates 500 additional street and slum children in Jaipur who are considered to be at special risk. Funded by the Government of India through the Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society (RSACS).

The Kavach Project
Kavach — National HIV Awareness Initiative

In addition to AIDS awareness amongst children, i-India was involved in the national Kavach project to educate and test truck drivers and truck-stop prostitutes across India.
