A daily kitchen is also in operation for street and working children of Jaipur city. The project aims at providing daily one time fresh and warm food to 2116 children living on street, sidewalks, temporary tents and slums. The kitchen is located in the Bhankrota suburb of Jaipur, 8 km west of I-India’s office. The staff includes head cook, assistant cooks and a driver for the distribution of food. The staff at this kitchen start work early in the morning and once the meals is made, they visit the 20 sites throughout the day and provides fresh and warm meals to the children attending Shwetaark schools, vocational training centre and contact points on street and railway station.
